360 degrees panorama with a key

Last year, I started to post on my website 360-degree panoramic views of place that I visit.

But beyond the beauty of the landscapes that I photographed, a little something missing to help know what the mountain top or what city were around us.

In this perspective, I modified my last panorama “360 degrees at Mont Forchat” by adding a small key on what can be seen here. You just have to point the location (town, mountain top) with the mouse, especially if you use the arrows at the bottom of the panorama.

Despite the fact that I check and double-check the information, I put it I may make mistakes or even forget that places significant. If you find any, it’d be nice if you tell me that I corrected.

360 degrees at Mont Forchat

Mount Forchat is a small summit (1539 m), which offers near Thonon-les-Bains a magnificent view over Lake Geneva and the Alps, including Mont Blanc (well, not this time).

The mountain top is easily accessible from Trés le mont, above the col du Feu.

Orion and Canis Major over the light pollution of Haute-Savoie

Although the place where I practise astrophotography et astronomical observation in Haute-Savoie is relatively good (the Sky Quality Meter usually gives 21), it is surrounded by the light pollution.
