360 degrees at the Pointe d’Arvouin (OK, not really)

Last summer (july 2010), during my walk to the Lake Arvouin and the Pointe d’Arvouin, I took this 360° panoramic view at the foot of the summit.
OK, I can foresee the question : Why did you take it at the foot rather than on the top itself?
Yes, I could have done it, and I must have done it: however, even if the place was large enough, I dreaded climbing with all my stuff (tripod included) and then turn around it when taking the pictures.
I don’t really regret it : the weather wasn’t good enough (not very clear). I promise, I will go back there and I will take the pictures for the panoramic view on the top!
Before that, here is the 360° panoramic view I took during this walk. You can see: the Pointe d’Arvouin (yes, a bit close !), the Cornettes de Bise (on the right), the Col de Blancsex and the Linleu

- Shooting with a Canon EOS 40D + EF 17-40 F / 4 L IS USM (set at 17 mm)
- 26 photos at ISO 100 – 1/100s at F/11
