360 degrees panorama with a key

FrenchLast year, I started to post on my website 360-degree panoramic views of place that I visit.
But beyond the beauty of the landscapes that I photographed, a little something missing to help know what the mountain top or what city were around us.
In this perspective, I modified my last panorama “360 degrees at Mont Forchat” by adding a small key on what can be seen here. You just have to point the location (town, mountain top) with the mouse, especially if you use the arrows at the bottom of the panorama.
Despite the fact that I check and double-check the information, I put it I may make mistakes or even forget that places significant. If you find any, it’d be nice if you tell me that I corrected.

A photographic and astronomical year ends, a
new year begins.
Let’s have a look on this past 2009.
Astrophotography
This past year had begun slowly, with an astrophotography session at -15°C. Then, until June, it was unfortunately calm with an height reached during the Rencontres Astronomiques du Printemps (Astronomical meetings of Spring) where the highest temperature was less than 5°C ! In June, I haven’t obtained satisfying results.
In August, September and October, I could capture an unexpected number of images : You can find them HERE.
In November and December, this has been missed occasions and winter weather
Photography
2010 has greatly begun : I was one of the three winners for the Trees and Lights 2009 constest.
Then, this year was correct for photography : not too few, not too much. I haven’t taken too much photographs during the winter.
For my summer’s vacations, I stayed in Haute-Savoie and I could enjoy its beautiful landscape : I took quite a lot photographs. I put some on my gallery, but I still have a lot to process !
Autumn bought me some colored or foggy images !
Blog/Website
Regularity was not the keyword for this year. I managed to write 28 articles : some was rapidly written (panoramiques), others a bit longer (too long ?). The most difficult was to take the necessary time to elaborate a post and to finding a subject enough insteresting (at least from my point of view). I’ll keep going to write at my own rythm.
I introduced the English translation of my article : I don’t know if it’s useful, but I like the exercise!

Dans deux articles que j'ai mis en ligne courant décembre, je vous ai présenté quelques photos que j'ai pu faire des illuminations du festival "Arbres et Lumières" (Edition 2009). Parmi celles-ci , j'en ai choisi une pour l'envoyer au concours qui était organisé à cette occasion.
Mercredi 13 janvier, j'ai eu la très agréable surprise de recevoir un appel m'informant que je faisais partie des trois lauréats !

Je vous souhaite à tous mes meilleurs voeux pour cette nouvelle année 2010.
Espérons que cette nouvelle année nous apportera un bon nombre de soirées observables : les 4 derniers mois ne nous ont pas offerts, en tout cas en Haute Savoie, des weekends de nouvelle Lune avec une météo correcte 
. Ce n'est pas comme ça que je vais réussir à progresser !
Heureusement, il me reste la photographie classique qui offre un panel de sujets beaucoup plus large tout au long de l'année.
Petite note : après environ un an de service, ce petit blog a reçu plus de 3000 visites. Je remercie ces visiteurs de leur passage et espère avoir apporté des réponses directement ou indirectement aux questions ou recherches qui les ont amenées par ici.
