Fog, stratus : Photowalk inside and above
by grux on Jan.21, 2012, under Report
The Lake Geneva area is known (at least from neighboring France) for its stratus covering it during the fall and winter days
When you’re working, below, morale mined by the gray, the dream is to be above trying to get warm by the sunlight.
Lights in Geneva for the end of year 2011
by grux on Dec.31, 2011, under Report
Every December, Geneva adorns itself with its lights… This brings a bit of joy in this end of afternoon when the night falls too early!
This year, no lights in the trees along the harbour : they climbed in the trees of the Old Town. It helps for changing habits.

À Genève, il est un lieu fréquenté par des centaines de personnes (moi compris) et pourtant qui semble avoir été oublié par le temps et par le développement urbain de Genève : la gare des Eaux-Vives. Petit coup de cœur.
The Pointe de Miribel at dawn
by grux on Oct.05, 2011, under Report
In a previous article, I post a 360 degrees panorama I shot at the top of the Pointe de Miribel (Plaine Joux – Bogève – Haute-Savoie – France) at sunrise.
Here are the other photographs I took during this little improvised walk (well, in fact, I decided the evening before).
360 degrees at the Pointe de Miribel at dawn

10 September 2011
Taking advantage of a touch of madness (yes!), I made a short walk to the Pointe de Miribel (above Bogève, Haute-Savoie) with a headlamp just for viewing a sunrise over the Alps(The photographs will follow this article soon). I woke up at 5:00 AM and was on the summit at 6:30 AM after 40 minute walking (not too long), the sun rising at 7:00 AM.
I could not resist the desire to show you have a panorama that I made at the top as the sun had not risen yet.
