The Veil Nebula : this time in a wider field of view

French24th June 2011, I took a photograph of a part of Veil Nebula with my telescope WO Megrez 110. Despite I got details in the nebula, I wasn’t very satisfied : except some technical problems, the photographic field was too tight for me.
31th July 2011, I took another photograph of this summer star with a lens with a shorter focallength (Zoom Canon 70-200 2.8 L, set at 200 mm). The purpose was to have the entire nebula.

Practising astronomy not at home can constraining (load the car, drive a few kilometers, install the equipment, uninstall the equipment, drive back home, … for emptying the car, this waits next day..). Howver, I like being in mountains, outside the city, in the peacefulness.
At the beginning of October, enjoying a few days off and good weather, I’ve been to my site astro preferred Ajon. Program: Heart nebula (IC1805) and soul nebula (IC1848) in the constellation Cassiopeia.

8 août 2010 – Ajon
Début juin 2010, je trouvais que ma production de photographies astronomiques n'était pas terrible (peu de nuits observables en weekend – unique possibilité en photo en itinérant, photos ratées – faut le dire). Je commençais à envier les astrophotographes en poste fixe.
Et puis, les mois d'août, septembre (dont un grand champ sur North America le 3 septembre) et maintenant octobre m'ont donné beaucoup plus de plaisir ! J'ai pu engranger quelques images en profitant des nuits étoilés qui accompagnaient (ou plutôt) permettaient ces prises de vue… 8 images depuis début juin (au 10 octobre), 2 utilisables avant. Je ne les publie pas nécessairement dans l'ordre…

Two following new Moon periods when I could practice astrophotography during a weekend ? That’s unbelievable ! That couldn’t be true. But, that was.
This Friday was beautiful, the following Saturday, well, is not so good : light clouds are already covering the Alps this early evening and it’s forecasts to be lasting until Sunday morning 8 AM ! That’s Murphy’s law !

IC2177, la nébuleuse de la Mouette, et compagnie

Durant ma sortie Astro-glagla de ce mois de janvier (15.01.2010), j'ai donc imagé un petit coin du ciel du coté de la Licorne (Mon) et plus précisément IC2177. Pour un retour à l'astrophotographie, je n'ai pas voulu faire compliqué i.e ne pas utilisé de focale trop longue.
En voici donc le résultat :
